Coconut oil (also known as copra oil) is an edible oil that is obtained from the kernel or meat of fully developed coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. Coconut Oil has a wide range of application. This is due to its high saturated fat content, which makes it slow to oxidize, lasting up to six months at 24 °C without turning bad.
