Is there a Hearer?

The voice has long been delivered. The goal is that we can really understand the problem. Thus, we are able to engineer a number of appropriate actions in an attempt to reconstruct Aceh's history, from one stage to another, from one step to another. And this will be one of the "items" in the cultural agenda that has a distant target in the framework of human development of Aceh Darussalam the 21st century.
So, now, it's good we hear the sound. that is, the voice that a great teacher has for a generation today, the Historian Rusdi Sufi.
In the seminar on the History of Entry and the Growth of Islam in Aceh and Nusantara held in East Aceh in 1980, Historians Rusdi Sufi and Muhammad Ibrahim conveyed: "To reconstruct the history of the kingdoms in the present region including parts of Indonesia in the period before 1500, in spite of difficulties, especially with regard to the problem of resource constraints.There are generally two types of sources used for it, first, foreign sources, and secondly, local / local sources, but these two sources can complete the reconstruction, on the one hand because of incomplete foreign sources preaching about the kingdoms, on the other hand, because of the legendary mystical nature inherent in the traditional, regio-centric local resources of the kingdoms. And although in the assessment of both types of sources it has been cultivated with caution d but also still have to use speculative historical imagination. This is certainly a conscious weakness, so thus the result of the reconstruction is nothing more than a tentative historical picture (still subject to change), which needs to be refined. "Rusdi Sufi also stated that from a number of archeological objects in Aceh which have been inventoried to date have not been studied regularly for information and to be enjoyed by all nations, especially the people of Aceh, and also mentioned some issues that need to be considered and overcome concerning archeology in Aceh:

  1. Given the large number of archaeological objects spreading throughout Aceh, it is necessary to have the presence of an Archaeological Center for Storage and Research;
  2. Lack of skilled and skilled manpower in archeology, there appears to be a gap between the Dutch East Indies government and the independence period. To overcome this need to be fostered / prepared by experts in the field;
  3. Lack of tools and media for research in the field of archeology in this area;
  4. There are still many archaeological sites located in forests and marshes that are difficult to reach and whose land status is unclear;
  5. The costs of government and non-government are very limited;
  6. Lack of public participation to take responsibility for historical and archaeological relics;
  7. There are many historical and ancient relics that need to be saved from destruction and annihilation.

Such suggestions have ever conveyed Historian Rusdi Sufi in his writings "Archaeological Research in Aceh". Did anyone hear?
