TERORIS OF POLICE INFO OFFICE IN RIAU, INDONESIA

Mapolda Riau attacked by suspected terrorists at 09.05 pm, Wednesday (05/16/2018).
Riau Police Chief Inspector General Pol Nandang said that this incident stems from the arrival of a white Avanza car who want to break through at the entrance gate Riau Mapolda. The car then crashed into the confronting police at the checkpoint entrance.

"So the car came in, then 4 people came down with a sword, the car went out and then left, the suspect ran away and we were chasing," he said when interviewed by TVOne.
As a result of this incident, 4 people became victims, one policeman was killed and 3 others wounded, including journalists.

"Four people use a sharp, well-prepared, really sharp sword, two members are slashed at the neck, alhamdulillah survived.A one in hand, one minor injury from TV One reporter and one of my members was hit and taken to hospital in serious injury and just died, "he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations of Police Headquarters Inspector General of Police Setyo Wasisto convey the same thing. According to him, the perpetrators who numbered 4 people attacked the police with a sword.

"When the entry was blocked by the Riau Police and then stepped down from the car of the unknown persons, there were 4 people then attacked the members using swords or sharp weapons which resulted in two members of the police injured," he said in a press statement at Police Headquarters.

"Then a group of unidentified people were paralyzed by shooting and 4 people were killed, one person ran away in a car and crashed into a member who was on duty until he finally died and then nudged TV reporter One Rian Rahmat," Setyo added.
