Facebook delete fake account ahead of US election
Facebook on Tuesday (31/07) said it had closed more than 30 pages and fake accounts aimed at driving public opinion on political issues ahead of elections in the United States (US) in November.
Facebook says the buzzer account has grown massively on Facebook and Instagram. Nevertheless, the Facebook authorities did not dare to point out that the operation via social media was a work from Russia.
"We are still in the early stages of investigation and do not hold all the facts, including who is the mastermind behind it," Facebook said in a number of blog messages.
