June 4, Apple Unveils New Generation of iOS and MacOS
Every year, Apple regularly organizes a conference of developers titled Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). For 2018, the date of the conference was officially disclosed, on 4 to 8 June 2018 at the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, California, USA.
Apple WWDC is an annual event that has been going on since 1988 which Apple uses to present the software and technology they will develop to developers.
Last year, WWDC became Apple's place to announce a number of products such as HomePod, iMac Pro, iOS 11, 10.5-inch iPad Pro, MacOS High Sierra, watchOS 4, and ARKit.
While for this year, predicted the announcement will be much related to iOS and MacOS, also iPad and MacBook which will be priced at cheaper as rumors circulating lately.
In WWDC 2018, Apple is predicted to focus on introducing the latest generation of iOS.
iOS 12 Becomes a Main Focus of WWDC 2018
Reported by The Verge, Apple is rumored to be focusing on developing iOS 12 in terms of performance and user comfort on all Apple devices it supports, such as iPhone and iPad.
Rumors, iOS 12 will bring Animoji feature from iPhone X to iPad thanks to a new model tablet that has Face ID technology.
But, a more significant software update from the Apple tablet will reportedly come out next year. Apple is reportedly going to redesign the homescreen look for iOS in 2019.
If Apple continues its tradition in WWDC, then the iOS 12 preview will likely be available to developers in June.
