history of household refrigerator
A refrigerator or refrigerator or refrigerator is a household electrical appliance that uses
refrigeration (cooling process) to help food preservation. The refrigerator works using a phase change heat pump operating in a refrigeration cycle. The refrigerator consists of a refrigerator or freezer or both. This two cabinet system was first introduced by General Electric in 1939. Some refrigerators are now divided into four rooms for different types of food storage:
- -18 ° C (-64.4 ° F) (freezers)
- 0 ° C (32 ° F) (meat)
- 4 ° C (39.2 ° F) (coolant)
- 10 ° C (50 ° F) (vegetable), to put various types of food.
The capacity of a refrigerator is measured in liters. Usually the freezer content is 100 liters and 140 liters coolant (but can vary greatly).
Here are the parts of the refrigerator and how it works: - Compressor
The compressor is a power unit in the cooling machine system. The compressor works to pump cooling materials throughout the refrigerator. The compressor will pump refrigerant gas under high pressure and heat at the high pressure side of the system and suck low pressure gas on the intake side (low pressure side).
There are 3 work done by the compressor that is:
uction function: this process makes the liquid
the refrigerant of the evaporator is condensed in a low temperature when pressure
refrigerant is raised.
ressure function: this process makes the gas
refrigerant can be pressed so as to make high temperature and pressure then channeled to condenser, and dikabutkan at high temperature.
Pumping function: this process can be operated continuously by circulating refrigerant based on suction and compression.
The compressor is the most important part of the refrigerator. When in analogy with the human body, the compressor is the same as the heart that works to pump blood throughout the body. So also with the compressor, pumping cooling materials throughout the refrigerator. - Condenser
The condenser serves as a heat exchange device, lowering the refrigerant temperature from the gas form to liquid. The condenser in the refrigerator system is a tool used to change the gas
high pressure refrigrant to liquid. The tool performs this way by removing heat from the refrigerant to atmospheric temperature. The condenser consists of
coil and fan that cools the refrigerant when the air is blown in between. The amount of heat contained in the refrigerant is released into the free air with the help of a fan The condenser is placed in front of the radiator whose cooling is guaranteed by the fan. For refrigrant type R-134a use condenser type parallel flow to improve air cooling effect. That way, the cooling effect of air can be improved by about . In order to process the release of heat can be faster, condenser pipes are designed winding and equipped with fins. Therefore, cleaning of condenser pipe fins is essential so that refrigrant heat transfer is not disrupted. If the condenser fins are left in a dirty condition, the cooling machine will become less cold.
