Since the demotion of Huddersfield to the Championship after the 2018-19 campaign, the player has not enjoyed good rapport with manager Jan Siewert who recently joined the club.

He made 91 appearances in total for The Terriers in all competitions, including 43 in the Premier League and scored 6 goals.

Barring a last-minute change, the Nigeria Football Federation target will undergo a medical on Monday ahead of his unveiling by Bournemouth.
