Leave everything behind;
do not be chain by the past
---life have always been a grind.
We all needed to unwind;
to be free like a gust
so leave everything behind...
The past can leave its binds
weakening all of us like glass
---life have always been a grind.
Time can never be on rewind
so try to move forward; move fast
and leave everything behind.
Open your eyes, dont be blind;
open your mind and don't be crass
---life have always been a grind.
Glory can leave one in cloud nine
but it can also pull one into a large mess.
So if you can, leave everything behind
because life have always been a big grind.
What is a Villanelle?
A villanelle (also known as villanesque) is a nineteen-line poetic form consisting of five tercets followed by a quatrain. There are two refrains and two repeating rhymes, with the first and third line of the first tercet repeated alternately until the last stanza, which includes both repeated lines. The villanelle is an example of a fixed verse form. The word derives from Latin, then Italian, and is related to the initial subject of the form being the pastoral.
