Ethereum Predictions - Where Is It Going In 2018
Ethereum has seen one of the highest increases of all the major crypto currencys but has also retained its growth by holding on the $900 + mark day after day. Etehreum was valued at just $7 back at the start of 2017 and saw a high of about $1,400 for a short period of time.
Where could we see Ethereum this year?
A few predictions are out there lets take a look into them and what supports these visions of the future.
Some facts about ethereum
- Creator Vitalik Buterin has shown increase ability to alter and recharge focus where needed in order to help fuel growth of the crypto
- Produced a few successful updates to the block chain without creating an "fork" an alternate coin
- ETC or Ethereum Classic is the old beta version of Ethereum which for whatever reason has remained intact (crazier things happen in crypto land)
- Ethereum allows for contacts which has been a key feature of its blockchain from others
- Most exchanges allow buying ETH to be bought right out with FIAT only few cryptos offer this such as bitcoin and litecoin
- Exchanges do allow for ETH to alt coins again only few exchanges support this.

For my own opinion I see it by years end to be around $2,500 per as it starts to replace bitcoin if lightning network falls through or comes up short, continues growth in the blockchain in terms of support, apps using it and ability to scale transactions per second/POS.

I believe that Ethereum will replace Bitcoin soon as the leader of he market. It is simply better, Bitcoin has lost a lot position in terms of market dominance and will still lose in face of Ethereum, especially when the news of the last Metropolis phase will come up. With or without Lightning Network, Bitcoin still can't scale or even compare with coins like Ether. But I still like more Steem as it is right now with DPoS and no fees, even Better than Ether too, at least IMHO :D
I agree with your opinion. The erc20 tokens on ethereum make it attractive for future crypto projects.
Ethereum has been conservative in this moment. I think ETH can overcome Bitcoin in Volume.
ETH has been holding pretty well since the last bloodbath a few days ago. Surely, this must represent something in the grand scheme of things.
Ethereum has long ways to go but I can see it passing Bitcoin throughout the upcoming years.

That added utility that it has is so important to its relevance and growth.
LTC has more chance to replace bitcoin. Since it was the first forked. The best it is the testing coins for btc.
you would think that but litecoin just has never caught on its always been on the back burner and more towards the 10th valued coin. As much as I would love to see litecoin take the spotlight I just don't see it happening its not as "sexy" I guess lol
It would be nice to think that ethereum will over take bitcoin, and rocket through the roof. Fingers crossed that they both keep climbing and at least people who do take the chance and “invest” will be making money and not loosing it. Thanks for your post. Upvoted
