Great question. This has been a huge issue ETH is facing for the past few months. The decline in the ICO markets means that funds/projects there is sell pressure (which we have seen). That being said, projects (Wepower, Augur, Enjin etc) building on top of ETH need to use it as a form of value transfer & to pay for gas.
