Ethereum's Pending Transactions Down MASSIVELY After Byzantium Fork
Number Of Pending Ethereum Transactions Down.
Part 1 of the Metropolis Hard Fork took place on the Ethereum network just the other day, and it seems that it has already had an impressive effect on the number of pending transactions, as you can see here:
The Byzantium Hard fork was only part 1 of the Metropolis update, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks/months when part 2 (Constantinople) also comes into effect.
The other added benefit of the Byzantium hard fork appears to be lower transaction fees:

Although it may be a little too early too tell how much lower they could go.

Maybe the fork will allow for faster transactions. Nobody likes to wait for hours to get paid.
Nice post!
I read that the price of Ethereum is up 3000% since the last hard fork. It will be interesting to see how, or if, this latest one impacts the price. Hopefully it' a somewhat more rigorous impact than it has been on the number of transactions.
