Ethereum: 3 hacks in one week
Veritaseum, which operates in the Ethereum ecosystem, was robbed of the equivalent of $ 8.4 million. This piracy took place during an Initial Coin Offering phase, but the administrators of Veritaseum do not worry about the future of their platform.
Pirates are linked in the Ethereum ecosystem. Last week, two attacks had allowed cybercriminals to steal the equivalent of several million dollars, in Ether or Token, smart contracts in the various marketplaces dedicated to Ethereum, a cryptomony based on blockchain technologies. But now Veritaseum platform yesterday announced a piracy, leading to the theft of the equivalent of $ 8.4 million during an Initial Coin Offering.![screen-shot-
Platform managers do not give much details about piracy, but explain that it was caused by a security error on the part of one of their partners and that the security flaw that allowed the attack Has now been filled. Cybercriminals managed to steal "tokens", the name given to intelligent contracts backed by the blockchain Ethererum. These are usually issued by companies working on technologies based on the Ethernet blockchain. These tokens may have different uses: voting rights or the right to access a certain service. But they also have a market value, making it a target for cybercriminals.

So why is Veri coin doing so much better than STEEM?
I cant explain that one.
The truth of this is a bleak question!!!
Question is just a question. The answer appears to be be bleak, when STEEM keeps slipping down the charts against other options. Down into the range of 20 or 21 now, and sinking weekly.
Not a positive sign.
Now, the question is... all these attacks taking advantage of any little slip. Are there greedy sharks circling the water? or just nervous rivals looking for any opportunity to bring it down?
These loans must be deterred by science and technology
