Ethereum has forked today October 16th 2017.

Byzantium is finally here - Ethereums fifth hard fork.

Not much has happened to the price, other than a relatively modest raise of $40 which it has maintained.

Byzantium is part of a bigger upgrade called "Metropolis" which is probably done somewhere in 2018.

As far as I know, Ethereum has NOT split into a third coin.

Personally I bought some Eth's down in the latest dip. Let's hope it was a better deal than my Litecoin "giveaway" :D
I've bought back into Litecoin yesterday as well - taking a loss of a few percentage points. Who cares in the long run - in a market that will probably go up tens of thousands of percentage points the next five to ten years.

Both are good picks. Just HODL!

ethereum going great and i hope it will be a best investment in present times after bitcoin !

Thanks for such a informative sharing.

I think Ethereum has the potential of being so much bigger than Bitcoin. Remember - Bitcoin is a currency, and that's it. Sure, it's the first one,and it's a pretty good currency. It will (or is all ready) also serve as a safe haven/store of value (much like gold).

But Ethereum..it could potentially be "everything". It can be worth almost unlimited amount of money. It is IMO incredibly cheap. The value of platforms such as Etherum and IOTA and perhaps others could be worth incredible amounts. Some might fail. Perhaps it's IOTA and not Ethereum. Who knows. But please own some of all of them. It is just so incredibly cheap right now.

Good job! Hope Ethereum does not split in a third coin till the end. It is good that people welcome the good changes.

Just hodl and wait for incredible prices :)

Ethereum is going to Rock soon !!!

Im pretty sure eth ceo said all the miners are switching over and coin creation isnt expected

So is this the hardfork that changed Proof of Work to Proof of Stake? I can't seem to find the answer to that.

Nice post :)
