John Walsh at MoNage Conference: Ethereum bandits stole $225 million this year. MetaCert is a great answer to protect mobile users.
Biggest takeaway: IMMEDIATELY stop using your phone number and SMS for 2-factor authentication. Use Google Authenticator (or Authy).
@thoughtchain good post - just a shame that this causes certain people to lose faith in the blockchain/cryptos.
Important to remember that this is a lot less than hacking centralised accounts and most cryptos are lost via forgotten passwords!!

Google Authenticator is the best and safest way for authentication. But never will top hardware wallet.
