ቢት ኮይን በአማርኛ
ቢት ሳንቲም (ቢት ኮይን/bitcoin) መንግስት እንዳሻው ገንዘብ እያተመ የዋጋ ግሽበትን ከማስከተል ሐገርን ይታደጋል። ይህንንም ለማሳካት ቢት ሳንቲም ከመንግስት እና የገንዘብ ተቋማት ቁጥጥር ወጪ በሆነ የኮምፒውተር ሲስተም ወስጥ የገንዝብ ፍሰትን ያካሂዳል። ረቂቅ በሆነ ይስውር ውይም (ክሪፕቶግራፊ) ቀመር ኮምፒውተሮች እርስ በእርስ በመተማመን የገንዘብ ልውውጥን ያካሂዳሉ።
እያንዳንዱ የገንዘብ ልውውጥ (transaction) ሊሰረዝና ሊደለዝ በማይችል መዝገብ (ledger) ወስጥ በቋሚነት ይመዘገባል። የመዝገቡም ኮፒ ብእያንዳንዱ ኮምፒውተር ወስጥ ስለሚቀመጥ፣ መዝገቡን ማጥፋት ውይም መቀየር (tamper) በጣም አስቸጋሪ ያደርገዋል። የመዝገቡን ኮፒ በሁሉም ኮምፒውተሮች ወስጥ አንድ ወጥ ለመድረግ ሲባል ኮምፒውተሮች እንዲናበቡ (sync እንዲያደርጉ) ይደረጋል።
