Everest is the highest mountain in the world. It is located north of India between Tibiet and Nepal.The mountain is located in the Mahalangura Himalayan Mountains of the Himalayas. Its height from sea level is 8,848 meter and 29,029 feet above sea level. It is named after an English lord Everest. He made the first Himalayan survey in 1841.
