Examination malpractice has been an old method of getting answers to questions in the exam hall and it's still done till this very day that I speak of. I could say that it is as old as man himself. This method has eaten deep into our educational system and it has made most students lazy in the areas of reading and studying for an examination. This has become a normal trend in our society as a whole, giving the students a negative impression about life itself. If a student could be thinking of copying in the examination hall, it shows the kind of mentality such a student have. Considering the above picture, I would love the Nigerian government to adopt this system into our educational system. By adopting this method, it will make it difficult for students to look either to the right or left to copy from their mates in the classroom. This method has been established in Japan and it has greatly reduce the level of malpractice though not perfectly but to some extent, it has reduced it. So I'm appealing to the government of Nigeria to do something about it. Though I know even with this method, Nigerians will still create another means of malpractice, but I believe we can reduce this to some extent.
Examination malpractice is a wrong method for passing exams in the educationional system and this issue must be treated appropriately .Imagine a lady writing answers on her laps so has to pass examinations image
This is a wrong approach to excel in examinations and this issue must be treated with serious punishments attached to it. Our educational system is failing because of this act of malpractice.
Over the years, a lot has been said and done about this practice but we need to improve in our approach so as to get a better result. If we can adopt this method, it would be a very wonderful way to improve on our educational system.
Also it is advisable we encourage students to read there books instead of relying on a short cut to pass examinations. We have had situations whereby even the teachers assist the students in the examination hall. This is a wrong approach and it's not helping the students. These are the leaders of tomorrow and they shouldn't be encouraged to cheat in the examination so that when they get to the top, they won't misbehave by stealing the money meant for the nation to themselves. There is a popular saying that a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean. Even as teachers we also have a role to play in helping to reduce the alarming rate at which examination malpractice is growing in the nation. Also has guidance and parents, we should encourage our children not to engage in such. We should inform them of the evil been done by engaging in examination malpractice and the consequences it might bring to them later in the future, this would help them always have a rethink whenever they are tempted to engage in examination malpractice.
