I just logged a climbing workout that lasted about 1hh:0mm:0ss !

I made it out to the climbing gym last night -- I think it was the first time since my climbing trip to Revelstoke a few weeks (a month!?) ago now. Just prior to my climbing trip, I injured my wrist at the gym -- bouldering a little bit too hard (my arm wasn't strong enough, but my hand still held on -- and the result was a slight 'dislocation-y' feeling in my wrist).

Been easing back into it. This climb felt great.

This workout:

  • Bouldering Pyramids:
  • 5x - V0's;
  • 4x - V1's;
  • 3x - V2's;
  • 2x - V3's;
  • 1x - V4;

After that -- I spent a bit of time working the moves on some difficult V4 problems, which is right around my current limit.

I reaaaaally really want to expand this @exhaust project into something useful for a climbing training diary/journal, as well as an adventure blog... I'm curious about the best way to store training data (probably just as in JSON format in the background somewhere) and the best way to input it (my money is on an Android App w/ a timer, and some "preconfigured workouts"). Curious to see if anyone has some thoughts on what would be useful...

I was reading through the post and checking out the photos on what looks like a tough climbing course, and then I got to the IPA - and what a lovely looking ale that one is!

Good to have a new creator on-board at #sportstalk :)

I'll admit to having just found sportstalk about 2 days ago. I've been working on building my EXHAUST project (check out https://xhaust.me if you're bored -- aiming to make something like Strava for Steem), and am excited to find a community of sports enthusiasts as well.

Thanks for the kind words, and I assure you that not only was the IPA delicious, but it felt great on sore hands ;)

That's an interesting one. I asked actifit if they were going to add in cycling routes and it was 'on the list'. I'm a fan or strava and used it most days for a year when i was cycling to work. Loved the timed sections and it would push me and get me moving early in the morning for sure.

I shall be having an IPA or two tomorrow with any look - hands? I'm drinking mine! :D

Hahaha don't need to have sore hands -- but it certainly is an added bonus with the cold glass on sore skin.

@run.vince.run and I have been chatting and collaborating on how to sync w/ Strava so users can upload activities to @exhaust via linking their Strava account. Should be a good way to get more people participating.

Be well, and keep moving!
