The Lifelong Explorer program is designed to recognize our travelers who keep coming back to explore with us. Once you've traveled on three National Geographic Expeditions, Active Expeditions, Journeys, and/or Private Expeditions, you'll qualify for enrollment in our Lifelong Explorer Program and receive a number of benefits, including discounts on all future trips, plus many more benefits (listed below).

How do I qualify?

Once you've traveled on three National Geographic Expeditions, Active Expedition, Journeys, and/or Private Expeditions, you'll automatically qualify for enrollment in our Lifelong Explorer program.
What are the benefits?

As a Lifelong Explorer, you'll enjoy the following benefits:

Savings on all future trips:
- A 10% per-person discount on any National Geographic/Lindblad Expeditions small-ship voyage
- A 10% per-person discount on any National Geographic Photography Workshop
- A 5% per-person discount on all National Geographic Journeys
- $250 per-person savings off all other domestic National Geographic Expeditions and Private Expeditions
- $500 per-person savings off all other international National Geographic Expeditions and Private Expeditions
- $250 per-person savings off all National Geographic Active Expeditions
- Advance notice of new trips
- Invitations to join special trips not available to the public
- Invitations to special National Geographic events and lectures around the country
- Special offers on upcoming trips
- Dedicated email newsletters exclusively for Lifelong Explorers

How will my benefits be applied?

When you make a new reservation by phone, be sure to inform the reservation agent that you are a Lifelong Explorer. If you reserve on our website, simply check the Lifelong Explorer box on the online reservation form. Your Lifelong Explorer discount will be applied to your final invoice after your eligibility has been verified.

General terms

* Your Lifelong Explorer membership is a household membership; anyone living at your address is eligible for the discount on his or her trip.
* The discount applies only to the expedition cost of the trip; it does not apply to the cost of extensions, optional excursions, airfare, or any other costs not included in the expedition cost.
* With a few exceptions, special offers only available to Lifelong Explorer members cannot be combined. For example, in instances where a special discount offer on a particular trip is made available to Lifelong Explorers, the Lifelong Explorer member can choose to apply whichever discount is greater.
*The Lifelong Explorer discount is not applicable towards National Geographic Student Expeditions.
