In humans, it has been shown to increase alpha2-wave activity in the brain with a single dose of 2.5 grams, while decreasing delta and fi electric brain waves.

In Australia, the results of another clinical study on the scientific criteria of oat extract have just been published. 185 individuals selected from healthy volunteers over the age of 50 with moderate detection capacity were initially subjected to scientific perception tests.

Then, 1.600 milligrams and 2,400 milligrams of oat extract (extract of oats collected when green, prepared with 30 percent alcohol) or similar pseudo-drug (maltodextrin) were grouped into two doses per day.

The results of scientific evaluation questionnaires conducted on 136 volunteers who completed the study showed that the application of oat extract at a dose of 1,600 milligrams showed a significant increase in attention and perception capacity compared to the group receiving pseudo-drug.
