Why the far side never faces the Earth despite the Moon's rotation ?
We never see the other side of Moon. The far side is that part of the moon that does not face the Earth. In the other words, we can term it as the back side, which is never visible from the Earth.
Well, the Moon rotates about its axis in the same way the Earth does. So ideally, there must come a stage when we can see the other side of the moon from the Earth. But this does not happen, and most of the far side of the moon perennially(निरंतर) faces away from the Earth. This is happened because of a phenomenon called 'Tidal Locking'. Tidal Locking refers to the gravitational interaction existing between two bodies (in this case the Moon and Earth), which results in a synchronous rotation.
This means that the rate at which the Moon rotates about its axis is the same as that it takes for the Moon to revolve around the Earth. The Moon rotates about its axis once, over a period of about 27 days, and it also revolves once around the earth in a span of 27 days. Since it takes the same amount of time for the Moon to rotate about its axis and to revolve around the Earth, If the Moon someday stops rotating about its axis, its far side will also be visible.
