A good day, trying to take a break from the computer.

I had to break away from my computer today.

I spend too much of my time behind that thing.

I woke up early, made coffee and went straight to the gym.

I spend a good hour there getting my workout in.

I then came home, had a shower and....found myself behind my computer...

I swear....that thing is like a magnet for me. It's been like that pretty much my whole life.

Instead of writing something for Steem I spend some time on Twitter.

I wrote 3 tweets (about Steem) and got those out.

I never thought much of twitter before I start using it but now I like it.

It's easy to get something out that you want to share without the worry of judgment and it's also perfect to quickly get updated on projects and people I follow.

This is also something I hope communities can bring for Steem. More and faster engagement.

I then checked the movie app on my phone and saw MIDWAY was playing.

I decided I could use some self-inflicted TLC today so I drove to the cinema instead of doing something Crypto related.

I arrived early and as luck would have it the KFC next to the cinema was open.

It's been a while since I had anything 'bad' so I thought....fuck it...you deserve it.

I found myself staring at the menus for a good while.

And finally I settled for this.

The Zinger Fire Stacker Burger menu!

It sure hit the spot.

Then, I made my way to the cinema and with a full belly, it was easy to cross the valley of temptation and I made it to the other side with just a sparkling water.

I enjoyed the film even though it's full of CGI (that I am not a huge fan of) but they pulled it off pretty well and truth be told I wouldn't know how they could make a movie of this scale without CGI nowadays.

There are a lot of battle scenes shown in this film and surprisingly no romance story, which I thought was pretty impressive for a Hollywood film.

I would give it around a 7.

As usual, I checked Rotten Tomatoes and once again I find myself closer to the audience score than the critics.

While typing this up I'm getting rudely interrupted.

Trevor wants to go out...

I'll think I'll do just that.

A long walk and more time away from the computer.

I'm having a great day.

Not sure if I can say this...but I already saw it....Bianca made me!

One of my guilty pleasures is going to the movies alone. Glad to see your taking time like this for yourself, man. Since #newsteem, a lot of my favorite bloggers’ posting habits have changed and I do enjoy knowing most of them are spending less time behind the computer and more time actually living life.

Haha, I still spend a hell of a lot of time behind the computer but today I needed a break. It was nice!

Going to the movies alone is great indeed! And I'm glad to see you are still posting man!

Haha your such a beauty

Good for you! To pull yourself from that magnetic computer!! Gosh the pull is so strong! Nice to see your smiley face & Trevor's too on the chain today!

It's epically strong, lol. I had a great day, a good reason to smile :)

I already feel that steemify notifications are my steem equivalent of Twitter. Then, when you look at many posts, the comments section reads very much like a twitter feed. :-)

Haha! That is true!

Being a military history buff, I am always skeptical of anything that comes out of Hollywood that is related to military history. They are almost always way off base on detail and facts. I'm on the fence if I would like to see it.

It's most likely not really historically accurate in many ways.

I have been wanting to see Midway since I saw the preview for it. That is interesting that they didn't try to throw some kind of love story in there. I just can't get behind Twitter like I can some other social media apps. If you follow too many people it can become a never ending process keeping up with all of their tweets and stuff. I can totally respect those who do it. KFC is one of my favorite places, but I don't eat there that often.

I don't go to KFC often either but once in a while, it's a real treat. I hope you like midway when you get to see it.

Wow, a whole day without a computer?
We must go to the forest, to the river!

Cool Beans. KFC and a man flick.
That would be a perfect day. Just need some beer lol 😂
