Facebook To Disallow Bitcoin Advertising
Facebook is rumored to prohibit the circulation of ads in its platform that has content related to crypto currency (cryptocurrency), including bitcoin.
The company initiated by Mark Zuckerberg argues that the content of those advertisements is related to deceptive and misleading promotional practices.
Facebook is taking this prohibition step to prevent irresponsible people from spreading financial products and services whose credibility is questionable.
"This wide-ranging policy helps us further detect other, possibly more powerful and misleading advertising practices."
"When we are ready, we will re-review this rule to review its implementation." The same rules apply to authorized advertisers and want to market any form of cryptocurrency products, such as bitcoin, initial coin offerings (ICO) and binary options.
The corporation which was established since 2004 is firmly against advertisers who violate company regulations. The infringing ads are not only banned from Facebook's main app, but also in the company's social media and advertising network, Audience Network.
Cryptocurrency trends are suspected to be the cause of fraud and price fluctuations beyond the cost of control.
Previously one of Google's video-based social media platforms, YouTube, also received allegations that the platform was a 'field' for those who want to mine cryptocurrency through ads containing malware.
