I have no idea how to use steemit, but I'm done with Facebook.

I just deactivated my Facebook. They aren't even hiding the fact that they're trying to fix the election anymore. As a veteran, I don't take kindly to treason, as you might imagine. Plus, I've been tired of their bullshit for a long time. Tired of giving them my attention and watching them get rich off it without sharing any of that wealth with me. I like the idea of letting people get paid for sharing their information instead of stealing it from them and selling it to companies.

Welcome aboard. I think you will find a lot of people here who feel free to express dissent and alterntative ideas. You probably won't like a lot of what I write, but feel free to browse around.

The neat way to get traction here is to find authors writing stuff you like, and engaging with them through comments. Write something substantive and conversational whenever you comment.

Don't post lazy copy/pasted content. Offer attribution whenever you copy text and images. Strive to create content you're proud to share the world.
