in #facebook6 years ago

As part of preparing for Europe's new data protection law, the world's largest social media is taking this step.

This warning will start showing users this week. In this, the user can use the personal data on Facebook for advertising and Facebook users will be asked to choose their choice.

Users will see how Facebook decides to show them specific ads. Additionally, users can also see what the organization does with the Facilitation Tool.

After publishing news of the Cambridge Analytics data scandal in March this year, Facebook is under pressure on data privacy. In the meantime, the new policy came in Europe, the social giant took the measure. Already this warning is being shown to the accounts of European users. Now it will be shown to everyone in the world, it is said in the US media CNBC report.

Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg said in a meeting with European parliamentarians on Tuesday that the user does not want to "just click" or "no" in some places, "so that they can understand what they are trying to do."
