The anomaly of the Baltic sea
19 June 2011 the Swedish dive team called "Ocean X" found a strange discovery in the Baltic sea. The team specialized in underwater recovery of important artifacts. In this day of "Ocean X" used sonar to define "very unusual object of cylindrical shape with a diameter of 197 feet (exactly 60 meters) at a depth of approximately 275 feet (83.8 meters)". The team did a sonar image of an object and published it in the press, which caused some comparison with the "Millennium Falcon" from "Star Wars."
The founder of "Ocean X" Peter Lindberg responded by saying: "at First we thought it was just a rock, but it is something more. Given that no one has ever heard of volcanic activity in the Baltic sea, the find seems even more strange." In 2012 the team "Ocean X" back to the anomaly site with a set of 3D scanners for the seabed and other tools for research under water. After reaching the destination, the team reported that all their electronic equipment, including a satellite phone does not work when approaching the object at 200 meters. After further research, the anomaly was described as a "large mushroom" with a thick base with a height of 8 meters (26 feet) from the sea floor and with a large "hat" on top with a height of 4 meters (13 feet). "Ocean X" noted that the surface structure was similar to the wall – straight lines, right angles and rounded stones.
In July 2012 suggested that the object may be Nazi anti-submarine defense system used during the Second World war, which set traps to deceive the radar of British and Russian submarines. If anomaly, the anti-submarine defense system, then this opening may be of historic value. This may also explain why the area was not working electric equipment.
The story was picked up by ufologists who claimed that the anomaly is an alien spacecraft or government equipment. Initial reports reported that the object contained the stairs, passages and a small hatch. Also sug
gested that the object located at the end of a large runway. In 2012 she published a series of articles claiming that the object is nothing more than a pile of stones, while others stated that too much structure allocates the object among the rocks. History became more unclear, but many scientists believed the object with a pile of rocks or sediment precipitation. The location of the anomaly of the Baltic sea classified. In 2012 "Ocean X" reported that a series of military exercises of armies of the United States and Russia took place near the anomaly
