RE: [Quick-ish Facts] Light Doesn't Experience Time

in #facts7 years ago

I love watching those documentaries too but admittedly have a very limited understanding. I'm in love with the theories and ideas about how things work and the possibilities of other dimensions, how to navigate space, time and light. It's all too much but still some of us are pulled towards the quest for understanding.

There that comment was a little better than my first knee jerk quip which was "hello from the U.S. sooooo how is the future looking today?" Sorry, it's a bad cliche joke from an ugly 'merican. ;)

There's two in particular that I've seen over and over, Fabric of the Cosmos and The Elegant Universe, both by Dr Brian Greene (I think I've butchered his name). I think things are slowly starting to sink in for me, very slowly, but the actual mathematics behind it still just looks like a scary wall of characters to me.
It's all just so fascinating! When you see our place in the universe, some of the silly worries kinda disappear I find.
haha, I've often been tempted to say the same thing to people to the east of us! Australian's man, they're so far ahead of us!

Sorry about my ADD comments. They say green is supposed to help with that but nope! Happy 420 day btw :)

haha mate, you have nothing to be sorry about! Honestly, I hit the bong a bit too hard myself yesterday and typing seemed too much like effort...
