Movie Facts: Are You Ready For: IT

When I was a young teen I read IT, the book. I was about 12 and terrified and it was my first big novel I read. And big it was but I just couldn't put it down. I then watched the IT TV Mini Series and it totally embraced what I loved about the book. I'm holding a bit off to watch the current movie but I'm nervous because it might ruin IT for me. What do you think? Should I watch it?
