How? Coltharp asked for a brick of 80,000 seeds placed in 40 chests, each weighing 22 kilograms shipped from a brick company in Salt Lake through the post office.
Coltharp reasoned, postal delivery is the cheapest way of shipping bricks for building construction materials. Because of this Coltharp act, the US Post Office banned postage shipments exceeding 90 kg in a day since 1916.
