I know corn was tiny until the mayans and native americans built it...

Here in the US up until the 1950s we had over 150 types Apples that were done regional or even grown by a single farm...

Unfortunately in the last 40 years with large scale farming and lose of the family farm we are down to around thirty Apple types....

A true shame!

But the story of Johnmmy Appleseed about a guy planting apple trees across the new world right after the revolutionary war period is based on truth....

I think I've heard something about him but he isn't very well-known in my country so I have to read the whole story. Thanks for the link
