Greetings steemians, the article to which I want to refer today has to do with some tips to have a much safer home, where our children can grow with greater harmony and prosperity. That is why I will describe three fundamental elements that will help us a lot in the upbringing of children. Among the aspects to develop, I mention the following: The Internet, Alcoholic Beverages and Privacy.

Make the Internet a safe place for our children:

In this increasingly globalized world, we see very often how our children have the easy and uncontrolled way on the Internet, for this reason it is imperative to make a kind of user manual to be a safer place for them.

At this point we have to recognize that on the web there are multiple pornographic sites that include different chat rooms, there are also different social networks where sexual sick hide under the anonymity in search of defenseless children to seduce them and attack them. That is why the need to locate the computer in a place that is visible to parents is essential, this is done order to have effective control can use this technological tool.

We must explain to our children that for no reason should reveal personal data neither of them nor of any family member without the indisputable authorization of the parents, much less these should attend meetings with strangers who have met online.

Quoting the bible we can find that in Psalm 26:4 it says

I do not associate with deceitful men, And I avoid those who hide what they are. Source

This makes explicit reference, about people who do bad things under the shadow of anonymity.

Regulate or avoid excessive alcohol consumption:

In many cases, alcohol has been a factor of child abuse. Adults who drink heavily tend to lose their inhibitions, and some give in to desires that in a normal state they would have repressed. This is a latent danger and is a very important reason not to abuse alcoholic beverages. Also at this point there are biblical passages which we will refer to for a better understanding on this point.

Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a ridiculer, alcohol is unruly; Whoever goes astray by them is not wise.

Privacy as a fundamental element in the family:

Privacy is an important value within the family nucleus, just as father and mother require their moments of intimacy, our children likewise need more and more privacy, as they grow. When our children are entering adolescence their bodies are suffering physical changes therefore it is essential that in our home everyone has their own space where their privacy is guaranteed.
