Can You Let Your Husband Bathe Your Daughters?

Popular Nigerian presenter has come under fire for saying that although she trusts her husband, she can never let him bathe for their daughter. Why? Because of the many things flying in the air right now that makes people become immoral. In her own words, she said

"I absolutely trust my husband, but I won’t take chances and have him bathe my daughter, because whether we like it or not , there is something flying in the air these days that is encouraging imbalance and immoralities. I actually trust my husband but I’m just being careful because people that have experienced this kind of situation also trusted their husbands, and yet, it happened."

Many Nigerians have bashed her saying, if she absolutely trusts her husband like she claims, then she should have no fear about their child being sexually molested by her husband (their father). Others are also insulting her for subtly calling her husband a 'pedophile.'

But let's talk about this.

We can hardly deny the fact that in today's society, sexual assault has been steadily on the rise, pedophiles are roaming the streets free and rapists live right under our noses. Husband rape wives and kids, big aunties rape little boys , heck! even men rape men nowadays. But even at that, is it right not to trust your husband with your daughters? If you are scared that your husband is a sexual predator, or he has the tendency of a pedophile, then why are you still in the marriage? How can you bring up your kids in a family filled with love and harmony when you are constantly suspicious of his movement around your daughters. How can you say to your daughter "hey girl, daddy loves you, but don't let him hug you too tightly or kiss you on your forehead, as a matter of fact, don't let him come too close of touch you too much?"

We all want to protect our kids, but is it right for a woman to suspect her husband when it comes to their daughters? Are you comfortable with your husband bathing your daughters?
