I don't know, but something sounds fishy to me about this story.
If you look at this story and the spin that media is taking on this, ie.

they are saying that homeschoolers should be watched closely by CPS, and neighbours should call into CPS about homeschoolers if they notice anything slightly off.
I wonder if such an extreme case as this can even be true. And if it is true, perhaps CPS let it go on for so long just so that they have an excuse to get into the homes of homeschoolers.
Right now, one of the HUGE benefits of homeschooling is that you don't have teachers making stupid reports to CPS, having the CPS show up at the school and interrogate your kids without your knowledge, etc.
I feel much safer homeschooling because it is one less way for them to make up some baseless crap to snatch my children away.
It is certainly NOT the reason that I started to homeschool -- but it does turn out to be a nice benefit.
So, like I said, this story sounds really fishy to me. I wonder if this really happened. Regardless, they are going to use it to take away MORE and more children from loving and good homes.
These people didnt just home school their kids, They actually opened a private school in the home. It makes me wonder if they didnt have bigger plans in mind, with other peoples kids. I certainly dont blame anyone for homeschooling their kids with the stranglehold that the elites and left have one the education system these days. its more of indoctrination than education. I agree with you coconut. there is extreme fishiness in this, for thirteen years the fire inspector never inspected the private school ? where im from fire departments dont get a lot from the budget and use any opportunity to fine companies for income. you cat tell me california fire departments dont need that money to where they would just ignore places. Who knows, Hollywood Pedo ring. local pedo ring, pizzagate or ties to whatever other sick things todays elite are in to.....thats hoe this stuff gets overlooked though.
