Famous quotes / Today: Charles Dickens.

Most quotes written by famous personalities in our world are fascinating. They are pure essence.

Charles John Huffam Dickens was born on February 7, 1812. He was born in Landport, England. He is considered the greatest novelist of his period. His novels still enjoy popularity.

In teenage years, Dickens left school to work in a factory when his father was incarcerated in a debtors' prison. Throughout his life he was a prolific writer. He has written 15 novels, 5 novellas and hundreds of stories. His success began in 1836 with The Pickwick Papers.

His most famous novels are: The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, A Christmas Carol, David Copperfield, Bleak House, Little Dorrit, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations.

The term Dickensian is used to describe something that is reminiscent of Dickens and his writings, such as poor social conditions or comically repulsive characters.
Charles Dickens had ten children with his wife Catherine Thomson Hogarth. Dickens dies on June 8, 1870, following a stroke.

Hey @mihaisyblu,

I have some quotes of this man which i like the most.

Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.
No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.
It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to, than I have ever known.

It’s always good to take a moment out of your day to reflect and appreciate insights like this, thanks for sharing the quotes!

I love this quotes... "There is always something to be grateful for."

If there are no good lawyers does that make every person good?

I think not. :)

Hey @mihaisyblu,

One of the quotes of this man which I liked most:

Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.

The quote about the spring shows his profession, it is very artistic and somewhat nostalgic.

The last two could have even been said/written together, they are quite interconnected.

Thanks for sharing! : )
