Most quotes written by famous personalities in our world are fascinating. They are pure essence.

Napoleon Bonaparte was born on 15 August 1769 in Corsica, France. His original name is Napoleone di Buonaparte. When the Revolution broke out in 1789, Napoleon served as an artillery officer in the French army.

His rise in the army was a very rapid one. At the age of 24, he was general. At the age of 26, he began the first military campaign against the Austrians and their Italian allies - winning almost every battle, conquering the Italian Peninsula in a year and becoming a war hero in France.

In November 1799 he created a coup and became the first consul of the French Republic. Between 1804 and 1814 he was the Emperor of France. He also held this position in 1815 for 100 days. He was a special military strategist. Throughout his career, he has won many battles. The most important are: Austerlitz (defeated Austria and Russia), Jena and Auerstedt (defeated Prussia), Friedland (defeated Russia), Wagram (defeated Austria and England).

In 1813, Prussia, Austria and Russia formed a coalition and defeated Napoleon in the Battle of Leipzig. Subsequently, the allies invaded France and conquered Paris. Napoleon was forced to abdicate and was exiled on the island of Elba. Napoleon escaped from Elba in February 1815 and took control of France again. He was defeated for the second time by his allies in the Battle of Waterloo. He was later exiled by the English on Helena Island. Napoleon dies in exile on May 5, 1921 (aged 51).

Historian Andrew Roberts states: "The ideas that underpin our modern world-meritocracy, equality before the law, property rights, religious tolerance, modern secular education, sound finances, and so on were championed, consolidated, codified and geographically extended by Napoleon . ,,

Great quotes from great personality thank you for sharing again dear

Interesting quotes. I like the quick history lesson.

My favorite quote by Napoleon is: “Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.” Which doesn’t bode well for a world increasingly poor, and increasingly irreligious.

Oh dear really helpful quote .

This is my favorite from Napoleon: "Imagination rules the world."

However, I'm not sure if I fully understand or can agree with this one: "The only way to stay poor is to be honest."

Cheers! : )
