FARMS- HOW STEEM CAN FEED NATIONS THROUGH AGRICULTURE

Good morning steemians and every farmer of the @farms community, it is no news that the dreams of the @farms community is to eradicate poverty from nations by reaching out to the poor and feeding them, all this to be done via promoting agricultural activities and in one way or the other support farmers to either start up a farm or support them in expanding the little they have. @farms intend to eradicate poverty through other means, not just to put food on people's table across nations but also the effects of the agricultural investment made by the community will reflect on the nation's job opportunities, increased standard of living, reduced poverty rate, a means of foreign exchange, raw materials for industries and lots more.

The question now is How does @farms intend to feed nations through steem?
Well let me quickly say a big thank you to the great minds behind a supportive community such as @farms, men that have their fellow human at heart, men that find pleasure in the growth of the economy and find satisfaction putting smiles on the jaws of so many, the master minder of this great community and other progressing communities as well, no other person than @sirknight and his ever willing to work apostle, a man that takes @farms community work to heart, @abiye, the world would be a better place if only we would have more people blessed with the kind of mindset you have.

Now @farms can feed nations using steem in diverse ways out of which are;
1.) The steemchurch farms empowerment scheme; scfes was established some time ago by this community to help farmers establish their farm and for those that are financially incapable, support them using steem as a means of payment to them for their start up capital. This the farm intends doing in form of a grant, a grant is one thing nations today fail to give farmers, they never give those that are financially incapable the chance to run their own farms, but to God be the glory @farms has been able to accomplish that as its plans disbursing steem to farmers with proposals that have been reviewed by the board.

So far this community has been able to assist a farmer @druids with is poultry work and i believe by now work is ongoing, so many other proposals have been written but i believe because the community is still very young it has not been able to meet with all of its proposal due to financial constraint. I would advice @abiye to run a fund raising programme for this community so as to help making its dreams come true, this is just my piece of advise.

The best investment a country can ever have is in its agricultural sector and this is what @farms aims at accomplishing through steem. Assisting farmers with steem as their financial back up (grants) will help more farmers grow their farmlands and we all know that the more the farms the more the food and the more the food the lesser the poverty rate.

With steem in agriculture there would be job opportunities because manpower would be needed to run the activities in the farm, and of course this would also provide income for the labourers to cater for other of their needs. The birth of one gives rise to another, steem assists in agricultural sector, this births job opportunities and job opportunities put money in the worker's pocket not just to feed but for other necessities.

Asides bringing food and money, when steem helps in establishing farms it also increases the standard of living in the nation, it provides raw materials for industries too thereby increasing the country's revenue.

2.) Asides the agricultural sector, steem can also feed the nations in other ways, truly not everyone is a farmer, and asides @farms every other communities earning steem can support the lives of the less privilged either in kind or in cash, example of the less privileged are orphans, disabled persons etc, i believe with one steem you can feed one person to satisfaction, should we then say steem is a means of life? because actually just one steem can save a life. Every other communities too and every steemian too can reach out to the poor mass. Centres for learning different vocational works can be established too, proudly sponsored with Steem with the establishment of these centres people can learn a trade to focus on and with this they have been given hope and direction. They can also be helped in further process by being assisted with a start up capital in form of steem to finally start their own enterprise.
