This week You! peeks into the contemporary interiors of a retail outlet in Faisalabad...

There was a time when boutiques and designer stores were made on simple lines and one could only see racks with clothes on display. This week You! peeks into the contemporary interiors of a retail outlet in Faisalabad...

There was a time when boutiques and designer stores were made on simple lines and one could only see racks with clothes on display. But in the recent times the concept has changed altogether - now equal emphasis is given to the interior design as well, so that the customers feel welcomed and comfortable.

A designer store that has a striking interior with unique design and display elements, not only makes your shopping experience worthwhile, but you just can’t resist visiting the place again and again. Of course, every store follows a different design strategy - depending on the products that are being sold there. However, what captures our attention before anything else is how tastefully and painstakingly the place has been decorated.

As fashion giants continue to expand their retail footprint across Pakistan, one of the major factors that differentiate one retailer from another is the store design and layout. There are a lot of different approaches when it comes to the interior layouts, but the current trend that has caught the attention of architects and interior designers is to understand customer’s expectations and create retail spaces that are functional and aesthetically superior. And this is exactly what the recently opened Khaadi Store in Faisalabad is all about.

The flagship store which is located at Gateway Tower, Satiana Road, occupies a surface of 16000 square foot and offers pret, unstitched, kids range along with home product line. The main highlight of the store is its interior - featuring a subtle mix of contemporary style, wooden finishes and affective store lighting that not only enhance the products on display, but create a wow factor for the customers. A neutral based colour palette has been chosen for the flagship store along with classic wooden furnishings in different finishes.
