    Modern fashion can be categorised in 2 sections: Houte Couture and Ready-to-wear.                

The houte couture collections is made or dedicated to certain group of individuals or customers, It has been customised to fit these customers exactly. As a designer, in order to qualify as a houte couture house, you must be part of the Syndical Chamber for houte coutour and show a new collection of clothings twice a year with a minimum number of 35 different styles of outfits.
Ready-to-wear collections are standarf-sized. They are suitable for large production runs since they are not made for certain individuals. The ready-to-wear collections is divided into 2: Designer/createur amd confection collections. The designer collections have a higher quality and finish as well as unique design. They are created not for sale but to make a statement......
