I wasn't ever an 80's child or even a 90's child, I am a 2000's child, that is when I grew up so I never first hand experienced some of these trends their first time through but I am experiencing them now. I am going to tell you the trends happening now so you can fit in with the crowd.

1. Chokers

What are they: So, chokers are basically necklaces but they are tight and end up close to your neck therefore the name choker makes sense. They first became popular from the 1900-1920s since the Queen wore one and regained fame again in the 40's and today.
How to wear: Chokers can be worn with almost any everyday outfit as long as the color and design coordinates.

2. Flames

What is it: Flames today are found making cameos all over clothes these days. Whether it is just on a shoe or up your sleeves issa trend. I believe they came back after people went crazy over the Thrasher shirt with the flames.
How to wear: Wear them anywhere that has material on your body.

3. Crop Top

What is it: A crop top is a shirt with a shorter cut so your stomach is exposed.
How to wear it: Put one on and wear any coordinating bottoms like jeans or shorts.

4. Dad hat

What is it: A dad hat is a baseball hat with a curved brim that has a cute look to it.
How to wear it: Pop a dad hat on at any point with your hair down.

5. Graphic tees

What is it: A graphic tee is a regular tee shirt of any color whith a design on it.
How to wear it: Put one on and tuck it into your bottoms for a regular day out.

6. Scrunchies

What is it: A scrunchie is a over-sized scrunched up hair tie that was first popular in the 80's.
How to wear it: A scrunchie can be used to pull your hair into a ponytail or can be a jewelry piece for your arm.

7. Highlighter

What is it: Highlighter has been everywhere for a few years so naturally it is on this list. Highlighter is a shimmery and creamy powder used in makeup and for on your body even.
How to wear it: Stick a brush in and cover the high points of your face and body and glow for the gods.

8. Thrifting

What is it: Thrifting is going to the thrift store to get clothes. You find old retro or vintage clothes for cheap prices so why not.
How to do it: Find your nearest thrift store and dig to find something you fancy.
