I have been looking for you, hoping you are well and your life is peaceful. Less is more--it is often true in writing, also. Rule of thumb for me is if you can express the same sentiment in less words, the writing is more effective. All those modifiers and compound sentences can eviscerate a piece.

However, sometimes you need more, I think. I've been looking at minimalist buildings since I first read this comment. I'm afraid some of them are so minimalist they seem sterile. The lines are clear and cold. There doesn't seem to be any room for inspiration.
