To bad none of Honey Badger Radio has opened an Steemit account

I think Steemit would be a good addition to there social media presence.

Agreed. Though its either embedding youtube videos or IPFS... And if IPFS, theyll need at least a small IPFS node, and be it running on a raspberry pi with external harddrive... not too expensive, but would require a bit of familiarisation with the technology. IPFS works surprisingly good even with a relativly small internet connection - sure, your upload might not be able to serve a video to more than a couple people at a time if that, but thats where the relativly efficient advantages of sharing upload rate and some space with other nodes on the Network come into play. You cont need to upload at a rate allowing even more than one person to watch it at a time as it wouldnt be sent to the viewer but other IPFS nodes which then distribute it further.

Of course, im not sure who if any of them would be able to deal with lets say Raspbian or linux comand line of any type, really.

HBR has tons of capable IT personal ln there private discord server who could set up an IPFS server. That's not the problem.

Good. I did notice steem coming up more and more frequently on youtube :)

But there is still the 2nd problem: sloth — Most users are the lazy to even open an account of Steemit – Minds – GAB — let alone use it.

Which is silly. Nothing will improve by postings in a private discord server alone. You need to post outside as well. But only a very few do it.

Oh, i think people will come with time. And every time a youtuber comes over, many of his subs follow suit. Ive been brought her by a german tech channel, a while later TJ kirk joined, Sye Ten has an account but didnt figure the stuff about the IPFS nodes out and to my knowledge didnt announce it which meant few votes and thus short storage time... David Pacman and Jimmy Dore are here as well - i dont neccessarily agree with them but it demonstrates that it is not just one political camp. (as far as political camps make any sense. Things like left and right - do they mean what they are used to mean novadays? The terms originated from the french revolution, the right were the feudalists, the left faught for capitalism and liberal values which progressives certainly dont subscribe to... Still claim to be liberal on occasion, buuuuut...)
