Both children and adults had fun on the festival
We organized a gastro cultural festival in my town, Miskolc. The festival's name was Great fun of Martin’s Day. It was successful event. Lots of people attended and felt good themselves. They ate delicious traditional food and had fun on programs.

The starring by the Martin’s day were the goose.
11th of November was a Martin’s day in Hungary. Saint Martin was a Roman soldier who was baptised as an adult and became a bishop in a French town called Tours. Goose became a symbol of St. Martin of Tours because of a legend that when trying to avoid being ordained bishop he had hidden in a goose pen, where he was betrayed by the cackling of the geese.

The delicious traditional foods were available in the festival

We usually eat goose in that time. According to Hungarian saying If you don’t eat goose on Martin’s day then you will hungry in the whole next year.

There was traditional fair with handicraftsman’s products.

They not only sold their products but also displayed how to work as seen in the image.

You could bought your Christmas gifts.
There were a lots of beautiful handmade product in the market.

The puppetry waited for the kids.
It’s me, I animated my favorite puppet hero called Paprika Jancsi.

Stilts walkers in action
I mentioned in my previous post that I lead a stilts walking company, We had a premiere of new performance. It was spectacular, entertaining and humorous according to public.
