CHILDHOOD

Childhood can be said to be the period of being a child. A stage in life where all homo sapiens must pass through. It is an age span ranging from birth to adolescence.

Childhood is the time for children to be in school and at play, to grow strong and confident with the love and encouragement of their family and an extended community of caring adults.

The greatest fun of childhood is during playtime with their friends. At this point, certain coordinations of the brain are yet to be developed.

One cool evening on my way home, a few blocks away from my place, i decided to stop by and get some few groceries for dinner.

I stumbled across a group of children playing close by. What captivated me was the joy they derived from their play such as making sand soup, driving imaginary cars, playing thief and police and all other plays you think of as a child.

From an adult's point of view, I wondered what was going on in their minds, the happiness they derived, but as an adult, we lack of interest in such games.

As one climbs up the age ladder, it's observed that the level of lack of interest increases.

The big question is how well do you miss your childhood days? Cause I do.
