RE: 'Scavengers' - a Micro-Play

in #fiction7 years ago (edited)

Lazarus, you noticed that your micro-plays get curated?! That's because they're brilliant! Atmospheric! I was there with those two, oh... It felt hard, I have a brother, we're really close, well, we used to be before I moved to France... I felt the connection between the heroes, this close one when you feel absolutely at ease with someone so that you can say anything that is on your mind right now without filtration (all the f* words that you use make it casual, the scene, the relationship). I know the feeling!

This spectacle around rats is just his way to cope with loss, as I understood, they lost their mother and now came to the house they grew up in. All the little details tell me that for him this loss is much more difficult than for her rational sis... He's the emotional one. And she's a solid rock.

I have noticed a trend developing yes, haha. It warms my heart to see them getting such a good reception.

I have a sister, my only sibling, so this all felt quite natural for me - the filter is practically non existent ;) Although this was written some time ago, it actually became oddly prophetic as the years went by... perhaps that's why I've waited so long before sharing it. It means a lot to me that you can see into this one in particular <3
