Pixelated Life (An Original Prose)
I've seen the world through other people's perspective --
To better understand their actions, their purpose, their motive
To stand in their shoes as if I could help ease their pain,
And tried to rejoice in every success they have attained.
I followed many trails that ended up in different paths,
And compared their situation with my own mistakes in the past,
"You should have done this", "I wouldn't have done that", like it was my decision to make
But I don't blame them -- after all, life isn't always a piece of cake
That you can just set aside or dump when it starts to taste bitter,
You can't just grab a bite and run away like a frightened teenager,
Life requires full attention if you want it to be sweet,
You have to add the right amount of everything for it to be perfect and neat.
And you'd have to accept defeat --
There'd be countless trials and failures before you succeed
You might get frustrated, but just know that you can always try again
It gets better every time, unless you give in.
This is all that I have learned after watching people come and go,
Their mistakes and my own are just lessons, both the joys and the sorrow.
And I've come to love this pixelated life -- the thrill and the twists
This soul-searching have lead me to believe that there's a reason why I still exist.
