A Glob of Love~
There was a drop in a yellow bucket that was full of love for all to see.
This bucket was a magic bucket that held love in the size of a pea.
The pea size glob of love looked at the walls around it all cold and alone and started to congeal.
A crust formed over the tiny glob of love shrinking it every so slowly.
Laughter could be heard running off in the distance. The glob of love now shrinking even more.
The wind sang as it whistled by the tiny bucket, tipping it over.
All alone it laid on its side until a family of mice came by to check out the inside.
Father went in first, wandering around. Checking the spaces to see if this would make a fine sturdy new home.
He checked all the walls to make sure they would be safe and soon gave his nod of approval to his wife.
Mom walked this way and that, an overwhelming feeling soon taking her thoughts back to her childhood. She knew right then and there this was the place they had been looking for.
Mother knew it was up to her to make this into a home. She shooed children and husband off to collect everything she would need to make this yellow bucket into a warm loving space.
Rolling the bucket between two larger stones she made sure it was very secure in case a huge wind would come again.
Father came next with a pile of extremely sturdy sticks he had found while out searching knowing it was time to lay the foundation inside their new home. Straight and true he laid them right over the glob of love never seeing it for what it was.
Mom, knowing the magic of a home was all in her hands, lovingly spread the now even sturdier floor with the softest grasses she could find.
A drop of dew, left on the grasses from the morning song, soon fell through the woven floor landing right on that glob of love, softening up the outer shell.
Days went on, pinwheels were made and set out the front of their new home to keep the mosquitoes away. While in the back of the yellow bucket, a new store of Winter food was starting to grow.
Feathers now added to sleeping areas made everyone feel safe while they slept the nights away.
Dirty grasses were changed and each time more and more dew would fall on that glob of gooey love making it spread throughout the whole foundation of the family's wonderful new home.
Mother knew this house was special but never knew why. She was a woman of faith. Faith in all good things in time would be returned to you if you sent out enough love into your world.
Years went by with the yellow bucket never aging from having a foundation built on a tiny glob of love.
That tiny glob of love, being surrounded as it was by the mother that just wanted a safe and sturdy home to raise her family in, had spread, stretched, and grown so large it soon embedded itself into the walls of that beautiful yellow bucket called home. Offering so much love to any and all in the place they would always call home no matter how old they became.
Love,
Snook

Once again thank you for your encouragement always. Someday we will find and make the art to go with it and you will get the first copy!!
Sorry. I am too old to be P C,
I'll tell you my thoughts, good or bad.
as the kids would say " Ewe's is GOOD"
as a thought, would it be worth asking in Steem for an artist?
possibly for a percentage of future earnings from the books?
