Hello Family Hope this post finds everyone well and in high spirits :) Post #3 in my A PICTURE CAN TELL A THOUSAND WORDS series. I pick a random pic that speaks to me and write a little story to accompany what i see. Please keep in mind that some of these post won't actually contain a thousand words, for all those fact checker out there :P I call this one...

BLOODBATH

The invasion had gone off just as planned.

Millions were dead and a hundred million more were left alive but essentially also dead on the planet Viciera.

The planet, shared by the MALCRE and the NERSUUF had been set ablaze by the MALCRE.

The actions of the MALCRE would shocked the known world. They had led everyone to believe that peace was at hand and agreed to sign into the NILES PACT with the NERSUUF.

Signed into fruition countless decades before. The higher beings called the NILES arrived in a lone ship almost magically. Missionaries of peace they came with gifts of wisdom and knowlegde and proved to the inhabittants of what they called the greater NECK sector, that peace was real.

Around the sector an enlightenment occurred and the NILES pact brought the majority of the armies in the known world together for the greater good of everyone.

King MAR of the NERSUUF though refused to accept peace with the people that had killed his grandfather and countless more over the years.

So the NERSUUF and MALCRE remained out of the pact.

Many wanted peace but alas the MALCRE under the leadership of RAINS GORSET devised a plan to usurp the planet once and for all. They proposed a deal with KING MAR and led him to believe that the past could and should be forgiven.

No one would have ever guessed that secretly RAINS GORSET was actually gearing up for what he called "the real path to peace".

For DANE CORRY a military captain for the MALCRE, the day had started out a hectic delusion.

A soldier, a father, and a husband he balanced out all three as he led men into war that foggy, gloomy day.

Why couldn't they just follow the guidance of the NILES he would tell his wife many times over during RAINS GORSET's amassment. He kept his sympathies to himself as any pro SUUF propaganda was deemed an act of treason against the state. Not even his rank could save him so he kept quiet many would not understand anyways.

He was both MALCRE and SUUF so he could not share in the excitement of his men.

War was an ugly thing but this was not a war, this was a blood bath.

DANE CORRY felt a terrible evil in his stomach, from his view he could see the fires that ravaged the lower parts of HIGHBOON the capital city of the NERSUUF. The tower of MYAN stood tall above all the carnage ensuing below.

He thought about KING MAR held up in that fortress as his people were being slaughter below him. He thought about his children and his wife. What would they think of him if they knew all that he had done that day?

He had led men into a building full of helpless people and watched as they were all slaughtered. The eyes of a little boy that looked just like his son stared into his soul even though the boy was dead. He could still hear his cries as the bullets ripped through him.

A Sound that would stay with him for years to come.

War was an ugly thing he thought but this was not war, this was a blood bath...
