Danger From A Parental Point Of View!

Children don't care about much more than whether what they're doing is entertaining enough. Giving our parents and grandparents the willies is absolutely hilarious to watch!

Teenagers not only think they can do anything adults can but also believe they know more than us!
"You know Nothing Mummy!"

As parents, watching them practice their gymnastics on swingsets, and cartwheels in the kitchen, and dancing on rollerblades, and trampolining and footy tackling away from their coaches, gives us the horrors!
The Heebie-jeebies!
The Willies!
As parents, we are reaping the karma we sowed in our parents and grandparents.

End.

Okay, I have a new challenge for you, @anonymummy. Try writing this information/observation as a "story." :-)

A story involves one or more characters and a situation. I'm nudging you to try this and see if you can write something in story form.

When you read stories to your child, for example, you don't read things like "As parents, watching them practice their gymnastics on swingsets...." Instead, a story might read something like this: "Momma watched as Lucy practiced tumbling. She fretted about the bees in the nearby flowers, but she did not want to be a hovering parent."

What you have written is interesting and true, but it's not a story. I am telling you this with kindness in my heart. I want to see you give it a try!

😲 your right! I dunno what I was thinking! Lol 😂 don’t sleep and write! I’ll have another go!
Thanks for not giving up on me🤗 I know I can be a bit stupid sometimes!🤓🙃🤪😘
