The Color Of Your Thought

There you are on the patio sipping coffee,
an afternoon break, the smell of the aroma
swirling over your head and the suspending vapor
of it that I could taste lingers on.

I wish I could see the color of your thought,
I wonder if love is really bloody red, perhaps,
is it yellow when you laugh hard?
And in deep blue when you feel lonely is sad,
maybe even a rainbow of how lovely you are
when you are in shining, the radiant of you
had me in bliss, but for a while, I wasn't there
anymore, being with my own black feeling
leads me back to where there's nothing more
to see in the purity of loneliness.
