A very comprehensive look at the cinematography of La La Land

An interesting point that was noted is how the movie looks to be set in an earlier time period because of the clothing. I would like to add my two cents in reference to the older film equipment being used in the background. I think it might have been a cost effective thought process that brought them to using the 20k mole-Richardson lights.
